The item descriptions don't fit on the screen

I’ve encountered a major issue after the latest updates. I am completely unable to see the stat requirements (Strength, Dexterity, Faith, etc.) for any weapons or equipment in my inventory.

I have tested this on multiple resolutions (from standard 1920x1080 to 3440x1440p) and the issue persists across all of them. The ‘Requirements’ section is simply not rendered or is invisible in the item tooltip.

Steps I’ve taken:

  1. Switched between Windowed, Borderless, and Fullscreen modes.

  2. Tested on both DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 (-force-d3d12).

  3. Changed UI languages to see if it’s a localization string error.

  4. Verified game files.

System Specs:

  • GPU: Radeon RX 7900 XTX (24GB)

  • OS: Windows 10

This is a game-breaking bug because I cannot progress or build my character without knowing the gear requirements. It seems like the UI container for tooltips is broken in the current build.

Has anyone found a workaround or a config edit to fix the UI rendering? Since the recent ‘DataStore’ and rollback issues, it feels like the game’s metadata handling is becoming very unstable.

When viewing armor, in some cases the preview that displays how much armor will increase compared to current armor is being overlapped by the poise defense icon. It seems to occur when the armor value and the preview value are both 3 digits and include wide numbers. For example, armor value of 260 with preview value of 220:

It doesn’t always occur when both numbers are 3 digits, for example here the numbers are 160 and 120 and display fine, likely because 1 is narrower than the 2 present in the above example.

same issue - I’m not able to view past the requirements. Durability, weight and selling price are not visible in this case. Playing on 3840 × 2160 res.

On items with a full set of enchantments, if the enchantment descriptions are long, the information at the bottom of the window does not fit.

German language has this issue too.

As I understand it, any text overflow problems that occur in Russian are highly likely to appear in German as well, since both languages have a significant number of long words.
