this looks like the storage chest in the rookery (where the old guy is on top). if i am correct, this is a chest to store your things until u get a house. storage chests like that (medium) chests look exactly like that, they are opened.
try if you can interact with it, then, if i am right, you will see you can store items in there. so if i am correct, its no loot chest
Yes, that’s a community chest, you can store things there and other players/characters can use it too when in that realm.
where’s the community tho???
(I kid, I’m sorry LOL)
solved then? LOL
likely waiting for confirmation from OP, then we can mark it solved
I understand that this has been changed and now there are two community chests, thanks for the answer, I don’t open loot chests in the city because I don’t like them being open forever xd
this made me giggle… interesting, never thought someone would think that way…
I’ve made new realms, and have been keeping them chests shut, but not for aesthetic reasons, but actually just to check if the level of the contents follows story/world progression… XD
I like the immersion of the world and the constantly open chests in the city are quite non-immersive The constantly open chests in the house also irritate me, why wasn’t their opening implemented? Probably because they are mobile and can be moved.
I’ve noticed tho, that only some stay open forever after opened… others will reset, much like the chest in the wild… I wish all of them would reset, even if the contents change for more common items…
as for the house chests, yah, those items seem static… would be nice to have some animations I guess, even if not crucial for gameplay, I really hope they expand a lil bit especially since there’s multiplayer coming!!
Hmm in the previous version the chests in the city were permanently empty and the items I could find there were not very interesting to leave open As for the Multiplayer mode, does this mean that the community chests will become community chests literally or only for people playing on a specific land? I don’t hide the fact that these chests have always been a storage for crafting items for me
i think they could be used to give items to coop players or as shared materials storage etc.
yeah, but is the lower floor one different from the top one?
TBH I never used the lower one.. not that I remember…
(I assume no much detail is available about this, which is fine, but stresses the importance of getting co-op hands-on, I foresee a lot of “small” issues popping up)
Community chest is in the bedroom area. I don’t think that is a community chest, it’s at the bottom area.
They ate both community chests, yes.
