Suggestions on teleport point changes

About the modification of the teleport point
I have played Wicked for about 70 hours these days. I have been clearing the plague back and forth. So I think I am very clear about the biggest source of players’ complaints about the teleport point.
I have a more suitable idea: give the return skill to all characters directly, set a separate button directly, and the player can guide 5 seconds to return to the teleport point of the holy city from anywhere.
A lot of time-consuming is that I don’t bring weapons with the return rune, because I need to bring a lot of garbage back to sell for money, leaving a lot of backpack space.
So if I finish a task and run to the nameless mountain pass, then I need to go back to the holy city and go to the forest to complete other tasks. If I don’t bring the return rune, it will become too troublesome.
In fact, I think your idea is right. Your map design is very good, and there are many shortcuts that make running maps easy.
But what is the fundamental reason why players don’t want to appreciate your map design now? There is no corresponding reward. Now it seems that letting everything drop randomly is not a good idea.
It is not suitable for this world. The best place for it to appear is the dungeon. You can open the original dungeon, where items and equipment can be randomly dropped.
As another dungeon besides the current pigeon dungeon. Just change the final boss. The randomness of the main world needs to be changed to increase the desire and purpose of players to explore the map.
You can’t take it for granted that players come mainly to appreciate the map. Even the best map will get boring after walking through it thousands of times. Appreciating the map design should only be an accessory, and players should have more purposes.
For example, as I mentioned before, add weapon treasure chests related to the player’s current main attribute, or material treasure chests, which contain a certain amount of certain materials.

Then bring a return rune ? You have 3+3 main/offhand slots.

I think that there should be a little tutorial the first time the player meets Eleanor. Those runes are too important to be ignored.
