When I talk to Eleanor, I’d prefer that she wouldn’t repeat the same dialogue every single time I interact with her to do something with my gear. The same applies when I’m finished with her — she says the same lines over and over again.
I don’t want dialogue every time I speak to an NPC just to craft an item. Sometimes I need to go in and out of the menu, check my backpack, maybe move around a bit, then come back and talk to the NPC again. When you have to interact with them repeatedly, the dialogue really starts to add up.
Would it be possible to add an option so players who don’t want dialogue from crafting-related NPCs in Sacrament can disable it — for example, a “Skip NPC Dialogue” checkbox in the menu? Alternatively, at the very least, the NPCs could stop repeating the same lines after 3–4 interactions.
Have a nice day!
(no Eleanor, I have not checked. Please stop asking
)

Another option is for NPCs to have much shorter dialogue before and possibly after crafting. For example, the blacksmith is just brief enough that it doesn’t become annoying over time.

Im not gonna spoil anything but you should probably follow her tip and go there, if you want to shorten that dialogue with her
(btw this is not a real spoiler so its safe to read)

Yeah, but other NPC are taking their sweet time before I can start crafting/buy/sell/etc…
What do the other NPC’s say? (those who take their sweet time talking before you can craft/buy/sell/etc.)
I’ve recently noticed that some NPC dialogue has become shorter. Something must have changed or a bug I’ve had, who knows. But Eleanor needs to stop reapeating herself and just make it as a quest log.
Have a nice day, and enjoy the update!

Hm they usually shorten their dialogue after you have heard them out the first time.
It also might be that you had just defeated a world/map boss, because some npc’s will then offer you extra dialogue. Report if you think something is broken, otherwise enjoy it ^^.
