Many players have voiced concerns about the item’s durability penalty upon death, but from my perspective, it adds a good challenge to the game. While I understand those who find the penalties too high, for hardcore gamers and fans of Diablo 2, it’s a welcomed feature.
Maybe in the future, it will be a great idea to introduce something like a ‘Hardcore Mode’ or a dedicated ‘Hardcore Realm’ to satisfy all players, offering increased durability penalties, reduced stamina, and tougher fiends. To motivate players to play this realm or mode it would be good to reward them with more experience or exotic rewards. This could provide a thrilling experience for those seeking more intense and hardcore gameplay.
