Amazing game and love playing with friends, but there isn’t much in the way of interacting with the other 1.6 million players. Would be awesome to have some sort of lobby UI to display our character and communicate with other players, to either invite to our worlds or play in theirs. Perhaps a shop to sell well crafted items as an extension to the home mechanic would be nice as well. Would be cool to be able to run bosses with others and get a chance to see what kinds of builds other people come up with considering the near endless possibilities. I know the launch of PvP will likely necessitate some sort of social integration, but that’s the main thing i feel this game needs. Thanks for your time!
Having some sort of lobby to advertise trades and lfg would be amazing! It would make the whole community feel more connected.
I do understand the desire to make a party feel more solid by having a realm sort of bound to four players, but selling good items to other Cerim or joining a boss run or crucible run in another world would be really cool, and increase replayability.
I think matchmaking specifically for bosses and the Crucible are fine. Trading would open a can of worms I rather not have in Wicked. With the guest spot coming it will be easier to trade, so I don’t see the need for it.
Trading will happen regardless on Discord servers.
Trading is the symptom to RNG overload disease. People won’t bother trading if the acquisition times and methods for items and gear are reasonable to do personally in-game.
Only when something takes outrageous amounts of time due to RNG or is deeply unpleasant/grueling to farm, does trading culture take root.
I don’t know if trading per say, but it would be cool to have a little shop in town that can be a liaison between my realm and the community. An NPC with an upgradable shop like any of the others; the more you upgrade it, the more items you can list for sale and maybe less listing tax at the highest tier. Through this NPC have a shop that can purchase items that other players list. Opens up the possibility of being a carpenter and selling beds or being a blacksmith making weapons for other cerim. Expands the fantasy and connection to the game imo and would fit within the theme of the other NPCs. Maybe he’s from Marin Village?
