Some feedback after finishing current content

I finished playing Breach update and so far most of my complaints were fixed with hotfix2 which is awesome. Still i wanted to tell about some things i didnt like and wish it will be improved.

  • Plague system. Endgame mechanic with plague zones feels unrewarding, yes it gives a lot of items with high upgrade level, but most of them just goes on sale to vendor anyway, new upgrade materials drop rate is too low, after cleansing zone (i finished 3 zones so far) you getting around 3-4 torn marrow and torn sinew and 1 torn husk, tbh i would make drop rate of them at least x2, bosses didnt drop unique items, one of them even has loor similar to simple elite mob, and also one of the bosses was Cyvion and i dont understand why he is even appearing, if i want to fight him i can always just go in the crucible where im even given echoes to help me fight him, please remove him from boss pool of pestilence bosses.
  • Enchantments. Most of them just feels bad, especially on cursed items with their possible downsides. Enchantments like “Stagger damage increased after kill”, or “Damage increased after sprinting for 4 seconds” it just useless in 99% of time, why its here, same with enchantments based on health focus and etc, just make it simpler. Also rework rerolling enchantments on gear, as i understand, you cant get some possible enchantments if you have another one that for some reason blocks them, like, you cant get “attack speed increased based on durability” and “attack stamina cost decreased” at the same time at least with rerolling, why? i spent around 70 fallen embers on weapon and couldnt get both, only if i changed one of them for another.
  • Fast travel. Best would be to be able to teleport to at least 1 spawn point in every zone, BUT if its too much to ask, make possible to teleport at least between Major zones like Sacrament, Marin village and new zones in the future.
  • Runes. Most of the time just cant use them or dont need, at least with 1h/2h swords and hammers, it takes too long to get 100 focus to use them, you can get easily interrupted during use or enemy can just dodge it, and anyway most of the time i just spent focus on healing aura after fight (it kind of got fixed after i got cold weapon with lifesteal and enchantments on armor “focus on aliment” and “health after kill”)
  • Healing system. Its just not fun to farm for healing items in general, at least in the current state, maybe later when we will have actual farm place or something like that it will change. Dont have any problem with limited healing during fight, seems fair enough especially when most of the time you can heal to full hp
  • Unique items. Very low amount of them and its really hard to get them or at least the one you possibly need, as i understand so far only guarantee way to get unique item is beating crucible which is kind of okay but
  • Crucible. Really buggy and very little content, idea is nice but right now it takes a pretty decent amount of time to beat it, not really fun and it doesnt have good variety of enemies and rooms
  • Consumables. Bombs mostly useless in endgame (kind of useful for building ailments but often just better to use normal attack), even midgame, exp potion completely useless, didnt use any and still reached maxed level before finishing campaign. dont understand why stamina potion last 120 sec while focus and poise 180, duration of enchantments from oils too short, should be 90 sec at least, better 120.
  • Mouse and Keyboard platforming. I know that this game built for gamepads in the first place, you even states before players start the game that its better to use gamepad, but i dont have one and cant play on them, so for me k&m is the only way, and i just hope you will make some jumps more forgiving for people who uses keyboard movement because sometimes you just cant angle your character the right way

Thats i guess my main problems with the game that i had. Despite all that i really like the game, story is great, visuals amazing, good voice acting, main and side characters written rly well and i hope you will continue developing all of that in the current direction. (Also sorry for my bad writing, english not my native)

I agree on pretty much everything here.

For the runes one has to be lucky to find an item that gives a lot of focus or find “gain focus on hit enchantment” ( if it’s still there).
I found a dagger that gives a lot of focus ( but does low damage), I use it paired with another weapon that does high damage but low focus gain, so dagger to get focus and then use the runes on the other.
But yes the RNG on the weapons is not fun, any RNG it’s not a part echoes.

Just make the embers more rare and give us the possibility to choose the enchantments we want.

I would add Shops should restock faster, in game time, or when player enters a different zone or use a whisper.

The platforming is bad with a gamepad as well ( Maybe one has to get used to it) but t it feels like AC random jumps and it’s very annoying considering the various platform sections.

Devs please listen to the OP feedback, everything he mentions is correct.

Farming for healing is not fun.
Especially with hard bosses like the huntress that you get penalized for trying to learn them.
I reached last boss and didn’t event get one unique.
Last patch i played 6 different godlike builds and i had the time of my life.
This patch im probably quitting maybe before i go to end game since end game even white mobs are damage sponges and costly in healing materials.
