My Feedback after 200h

My background:

  • Mostly D3 & D4 player
  • Never really touched a Soulslike game

No Rest play Time:

  • 200h in breach
  • 4 fresh Campaigne runs done
  • 3 builds brought to endgame(Kill Echonight/ T4 Pest)
    • About 50 Echokight kills in

Personal Thoughts:

  • Love the Game(the mix of Arpg and SL feels good to me)
  • Art Style 10/10
  • Story 10/10
  • Endgame 7/10

Feedback:

  • Endgame 7/10

    • Some pest zones are way longer to clear
      • to few Enemies
    • the Skip to boss item should spawn to boss closed to you
      • dont like the long run way after using, especially after death
    • some Pest debuffs nerv your build so hard its not even fun
      • tune down to most char breaking debuffs
  • Items

    • Legendarys need more impact
    • Rind of determination to strong
    • Give maybe 2 rune slots to Shilds
    • Rerolling items
      • Dont know if i would have played 200 hours without the Embers bug to try out builds
      • need Information what roll is possible before rerolling
  • Lifesteal to strong

  • Freeze Element feels bad if u dont do weapon swap

  • Fire Mage to Strong

  • Bed buff is interesting but feels kind of to mandatory for any build

  • QoL

    • if 3 weapons slots are unlocked and only 1 or 2 weapons are used dont make it select to empty stot
    • Camera sometimes Wacky(not a big issue)
    • need a waypoint to Marin to fast trade with the old witch
    • Crafting Cosmetic items feels to expensive
    • Upgrading Gear/town feels a bit to expensive
    • Need more information about all Character stats(like Attackspeed, etc)
    • More Information about Runes(Cost, Element type, also is the rune more of a damage/distance closer/fast attacking one)
    • Fall Damage and runes Moves over cliff
    • Need a crafting-Table where u can Slot/extract runes at your house
    • Full Cosmetic set should give a buff since its just wrong to run full plate cz u lose on Elemental Damage reduction
    • Pokedex for cosmetics is needed
    • Need information what elemental build ups actually do/mean
      • f.e. i’m still wondering if a fire build up is considered a stagger since to enemy can’t move for a bit
  • New Players Frustration

    • As a new player Sewer Darak is way to strong
    • In Marina Woods to Tree Stuff Part is a bit to confusing
    • To much Gathering compared to enjoyable gameplay(Combat) at the beginning

Suggestions

(In the QoL Part are also some suggestions)

  • More distinction in Weight Class

    • Fast = more attackspeed/movement/more damage taken
    • Medium = balanced
    • Heavy = maybe even more Damage reduction or something
  • maybe some fast runes can’t be using in heavy and vise versa

  • Maybe instead of Parry there is a kind of Martial arts counter move

  • More Items Stats the enable more Builds and more importantly build depth
