Nice find! The game recognizes the input but activates both interactables (the sign and Randolph) since you’re in range of them together.

When standing near the signpost beside Randolph such that the signpost text displays at the bottom of the screen, if the player talks to Randolph the signpost text UI persists on the screen and causes it to overlap with the bounty/challenges UI.
