Hey,
Issue: termination of menus or various ingame UI causes a lagging effect where it seems like my game has desynced with the server. (Relatively) Low ping in game.
My internet seems to perform well enough to not be experiencing the issue (performance shown in clip), however I did notice that my ping seems to de-stabilize when in game.
I’m able to consistently reproduce the bug; however, the only instance I was able to stop the bug was by switching to VPN and saying my location was in Europe (>200 ping though). Saw this suggested fix somewhere on reddit.

Can you please allow access to the link without needing to request it in the Google drive interface?
To do so:
- Right click the folder/files → share → share (again) → set “Restricted” to “Anyone with the link” and permission on “Viewer”
Which country are you normally playing from?
I am also interested if you experience the same thing in a local vs shared realm, can you elaborate on that?
Do you have an example which menu’s or ingame UI cause this issue for you?

Sorry about that! I updated the permissions on the drive links.
I’m playing from the US and the issue keeps happening in my shared realm and in my friends shared realm. I notice it happens when exiting instances like campfires or shop keeps, but not with an NPC with just a simple dialog (or maybe it is but just a brief pause).
The video I attached is quite long, but shows instances of me interacting with different NPC’s and items in my menu. I’m not too savvy with network troubleshooting, but I show that I have quite stable internet and the issue resolved when I switch to a VPN and play from Denmark.
Happy to provide additional information on this or do some more testing. I’ll go and create a new character and play on a local realm to see if the issue persisits.
