Saving loot when enemies die in awkward locations

I tried to report these as bugs, but apparently it’s not entirely appropriate.

  1. I’ve had 2 bounties die by launching themselves off cliffs. This amuses me. However, when this happens they don’t drop loot. I can’t be found near their launch point. nor can it be found next to their dead bodies.

  2. Bounty in The Black Trench had 2 enemies spawn just beneath floor level (their heads and weapon tips were visible). They could be targeted and hit, and could hit back. They moved as if above ground. When dead, their loot dropped at their feet just below floor level and they rose to floor level

This is not game breaking, but it is a shame to defeat bounties and not get all the loot rewards. Would it make sense to spawn loot next to the player when enemies die a certain distance away, or beneath the floor?

This should absolutely happen. There’s nothing more aggravating than having to find on a narrow ledge and then the enemy falls several floors below and all the loot spawns there, but you have absolutely no desire to backtrack that long or take the danger of dying by retreading a dangerous area.
