Our attack doesn’t affect to enemy attack movement, so we should be able to dodge and parry in every situation. it can cancel attack, after attack movement immediately.
Hardcore disagree. Committing to attacks is a common aspect of souls type games, which this is.
If anything, I’d just prefer our attacks have more ability to stagger or interrupt enemy attacks
definitely, i think the game as it is now is already doing a great job.
poise is a thing, i love being able to whisthand some attack while charging my greatsword at the right time, and being punished for trying it on an attack that i can’t actually stand. it forces me to become better, learn ennemy pattern and so on.
If this feature change, the game won’t be a souls like anymore, but become a basic adventure / beat them up game where u smash button like crazy : /
Yeah playing a heavy build with a greatsword really feels awesome. Altought, there are very few attacks that can punish my charging greatsword. The poise you can get with enchantments is crazy.
