I’ve equipped and removed the hat, but top-left avatar still display the hat

Experiencing the same issue - it does reset if you unequip the helmet slot entirely, jump out of inventory, go back in and re-equip.
Note: when I do this the avatar in the top left of the UI doesn’t show an image with no helmet but with the helmet that I just un-equipped.
So in the case of the pictures attached:
- I have the Tanth Scout helmet equipped
- I tried on the Knight helmet > avatar in UI changed
- Switch directly back to the Tanth helmet > Avatar unchanged
- Remove Tanth Helmet > avatar show with Tanth helmet even though character has NO helmet
- Re-equip Tanth helmet > avatar now aligned.
Also, if I unequip helmets (no helmet), go back to main menu and then back in, the avatar WILL update to show no helmet worn.
