Early game on second character, I put on a hat, i removed the hat. The hat remained on my portrait, but not on my character.
I found another hat, i put it on and removed it hoping it would remove the portrait’s hat, the second hat replaced the original hat in the portrait but did not get rid of my Hatted state.
Same here.
Restarting game gives proper portrait until you start wearing new hat.
