First off, I think No Rest for the Wicked is absolutely awesome! The way the game is built, the graphics, the leveling, and how you can already see in the background where you’ll be heading next – it’s all just amazing!
What would be way cooler, in my opinion, is if you couldn’t just straight-up buy the recipes/blueprints. They should drop from quests, bosses, or be hidden in some secret corners instead.

I can fill you in towards how it is done now, and what Thomas (our Lord and Savior) has plans for.
Right now you can buy a few recipes from every vendor, with Grinnich and Finley on a rotating stock for a chance to buy any recipe in the game.
Every recipe not sold buy the basic vendors are only found in the game. This has made it a slog however to collect them all, because it is based on rng and luck.
What Moon has planned is for us to have a Scribe’s table where - if you put in enough of some sort of material/currency- you can buy any recipe you want. It will still drop the normal way on the map, but now also be available for players in this way.
