Hello, i have a problem with my Realm lagging only me, when everyone in my realm is okay, i dont understand what my problem is with the realm i host, ingame i have three icons that are red, latency issue with the realm only, because when im on another realm i dont lag, but when im on my own hosted realm i lag, i had another one just like it and it wasn’t lagging me, but the story progression is far, i’m upset that i can’t do anything because of my lagging. My wifi is golden, just i think it’s either a corrupt file or a third party member is attacking my ping.
Are you and your mates on different continents? Does the lag persist if you enter by yourself and select a region closer to you? I can reassure you that no one is nor ever will be ‘attacking your ping’, and that the expression makes no sense to begin with.
You won’t experience network lag in a local realm. Technically, you are not the host of shared realms (a server is; you might be an admin). Wicked’s netcode works by sending everyone’s inputs to be processed on everyone’s computers (rather than sending game states), so your computer is simulating the actions of up to four people.
