It’s been a while since I’ve graced the Halls of Torment (aka: Player Feedback Forum).
That being said, I had a few questions that remained unanswered from the Q&A today but perhaps have already been addressed during my time away.
*If you have official answers to these or perhaps any additional questions beyond, please feel free to post them below, perhaps making this a mega thread.
- When talking about adding “variety” of content, specifically avoiding the idea of repeating quests like “go here and kill x thing(s)”.
Q: Have you considered adding different “fin” (fishing) options, more specifically, Spear Fishing found in games like Warframe.
- On the topic of making farming impactful but not necessary, a fun distraction from the heroes journey.
Q: What are your thoughts on getting character XP from farming, crafting and any other “player” experience like you’d find in Guild Wars 2?
- When adding new modes like the upcoming “hoard mode” to the Crucible.
Q: What are your thoughts on unique “soul” weapons and enchants replacing your player gear when entering the Rogue-lite mode, similar to FFXIV’s “Deep Dungeons” (Palace of the Dead, Heaven on High, ect)?
- When dealing with player inventories and multiple players trying to access individual stores at the same time.
Q: Technical Question: Did you guys ever experiment with overthrowing the Monobehavior tyranny with making No Reset for the Wicked more modular with Scritpable Objects (Data Containers)?
- When discussing dropping items on the ground.
Q: Though you did touch on a pathing issue, what are your thoughts on giving us the ability to tame a wild pet or two, perhaps on our farm and use them as runners, similar to the pets found in Torchlight but perhaps on a “summon” basis to avoid potential pathing issues? (they could also help automatically gather loot around the player like Pets in Warframe with power ups).
Regardless, I hope you all have been doing well.
*I’m really looking forward to the 1.0 launch!
