We just finished the game with my friends (and I put in an extra 50 hours solo because I just can’t stop…). It was a phenomenal experience, and we can’t wait to return for the 1.0 release. We do have a few QoL suggestions.
1, The rune swapping system and its clarity aren’t the best. We should be able to check what the weapon’s runes in our inventory do and see their costs as well. And it should also clearly show which weapons the enchantment can be applied to.
2, Enchantment swapping should be clearer as well. There should be some kind of description explaining from where to where, and which enchantments can be transferred.
3, By the time we reach the mid-game, there are so many consumables, items and food options that it becomes quite frustrating to find what we need in the list. This is especially tiring before bosses, when we’re trying to apply 4–5 buffs and have to scroll up and down constantly.
My suggestion is to have a preset menu where we can choose specific potions and foods, then assign an icon and a name to that selection. Like a loadatout.
After that, when we want to use our custom setup, we would just select the preset icon, and the character would automatically consume the selected buffs one by one.
(+1: Do someting with bombs, they are pretty useless after the early game. Maybe they do the same damage like now, but apply full status immidiately?)
4, Gathering is fun at the start, but after a point it will be too farmy. Theres a review in Steam what I really liked and it’s describe very well ![]()
“I’m chopping down trees, the game is great overall, lots of content, I’m chopping down trees, many interesting monsters, I’ve run out of trees to chop down, interesting bosses, I need to chop down more trees, the plot and visuals are also cool, I need to chop down more trees, multi-level locations where you can chop down trees, various NPCs standing between the trees that need to be cut down.”

It would be great to have rings or maybe even armor pieces with specific enchantments that support gathering.
For example: auto-pickup items after destroying a gathering node, increased drop rates, faster chopping speed, or higher gathering damage. Maybe even a npcs after side quests who gather small amount of materials for us.
4, The courier boy.
After completing a short side quest, an NPC could stand near the portal in Sacrament and, for a small amount of copper, take matching items from our inventory back to our houses and place them into the appropriate chests.
(+1: A button inside the house that instantly deposits matching items into the storage chests.)
5, The camera distance during boss fights is sometimes too short. Many times I got hit by a boss from almost off-screen, barely seeing the incoming attack. For larger bosses, or ones with longer reach, the camera should zoom out a bit more so players can properly see and react to incoming attacks.
6, Parry feels unrewarding alot of times. It’s fun with small mobs to kill them with a charge attack after a properly timed parry because there is not a big problem if you miss the parry window. But with bigger mobs or bosses its just incredible punishing to make a mistake. I tried to learn it but most bosses recover so fast from parry I can’t even hit them with a proper attack. Sometimes maybe because of the online servers the parry doesn’t registered well too. Same happened with all of my friends, they tried to learn it, but gave up after a time because its very unreliable. Honestly, I don’t know what would be the good solution to this….
Thank you for reading. It’s a great game, I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the release! ![]()
