The daily / weekly bounties & challenges doesn’t seemed to be based on local/system time. Without a countdown timer, its not possible to figure out when I need to get them done and when I need to re-accept the dailies. It so always happen to expire while I’m out completing them, so it does get annoying after awhile.

They reset at your local time, 5 am. That is dailies and all vendors.
The weeklies reset at 5 am every week, on the day 7 days away from realm creation.
I highly agree though there needs to be a countdown!

hmm, I monitored it, but the dailies seem to reset in the afternoon, somewhere around 1pm local time. 
Have you ( or someone else / or something else like an update or power surge ) ever made any changes to your PC systems time and date?
Are you playing CO-OP or solo?
(Is it a shared “CO-OP” realm where invited players can contribute to or is it on an offline “solo” realm)
do you know if this is true?;

So while the underlying timers themselves are identical in structure across all realms, how those timers evaluate time and sync across players varies based on where the Realm Owner or Creator data lives?
Hey! Thanks for replying, I’ve not made any changes to my system time/date, and I’m playing solo. I suspect the reset is happening based on my realm creation time which iirc was around the same local time
EDIT: I read that all the realms are stuck on UTC. This might be the cause as 5am UTC is 1pm my local time.
Yep this is true! (except the latter part)
You can test this yourself by sharing a realm with someone else, the save file for that particular realm will be pulled from your datastore.
If you kick everyone from your realm the file should be put back in your datastore, being it pulled from Moon’s online servers.

My bounties and shop resets are stuck in UTC too, but the shop that says it’s open from 8pm-midnight (if you have that unlocked) is in local time for me. Just thought I’d mention it since it’s a useful shop and I only recently discovered I could check it from 8pm local time, might be the same for you!
