The bug still happen, always after a pestilence boss.
My character is frozen when I take the boss rewards.
So I have to quit the game and when I come back my utilitary runes are gone
That’s already the 3rd times it happen 
My utility rune slots are consistently being deleted as well as 5/10 of my food limits. I will have all 4 Utility Rune slots unlocked via Plague Ichor and all 4 slots filled with Blink, Illuminate, Return and Heal as well as 10/10 for my food limit. Occaisionally I will experience a bug where I cannot pick up an enemy drop, the character will freeze and I will be soft locked. I’m able to return to main menu and continue right where I left off only to find my Utility Runes deleted, my slots gone as well as 5/10 of my food limits reset. Another strange thing that seems to happen is the appearance of my character will be completely different. Quitting to desktop and Restarting the game will reset my characters appearance but not the Plague Ichors spent on Runes and food.
This bug is pretty game breaking for me and seems to happen about once per play session. I’ll try to provide photos and log files the next time it happens.

Well that’s sorta reassuring as I havent seen anyone else with this issue. Been trying to narrow down what’s triggering the bug but I’m running out of plague Ichor.
I got this bug for the 5th time… That’s super boring !
Ok, got it again but now I don’t have more of my fav utility runes and Eleanor don’t sell it on any of my 7 realms…
So I will have to stop the game until this bug is patched

Happened again. This time right on login after hitting “continue”. Soon as I started, my characters appearance changed and my Utility runes deleted and slots reset.
First image is before the bug. Second image is starting a new session hours later. Notice the characters face and the Utility runes. After returning to main menu and joining the realm again, the slots aren’t just empty but need to be repurchased with Plague Ichor.
So glad to see other people are getting trolled by this bug too.
As the title says. This started happening when I got stuck in the loot animation in the crucible. I had to crash the game in order to start again. Upon that restart, anytime I leave a realm NOW, all my utility rune slots are gone, as are their runes, and my food count. For now I have a few ichor left but I’m hoping there’s a magic work around for the softlock and the constant re-visits to the watcher.
I’ve also had this happen a couple of times already, mainly since the latest update though.
So far, it’s wiped my utility runes when I died at the crucible boss and when it loaded me back I noticed they were gone.
I did not note any issue with getting stuck looting beforehand as I was playing solo on a shared realm.
It reset the hunger limit and the util runes, having to reinvest ichors at the watcher
Runes used at that time was poise defense, thorns, return, illuminate.
Re-slotted in channel and scream, played a bunch in the evening and did a bunch of pestilence farming, also did crucibles, resource gathering, gear tinkering etc.
Had one noticeable “stuck while looting” issue at a pestilence boss.
The friend I was playing with and I, we solved it by simply attacking or shoulder bashing each other out of it.
I don’t have information if he also has lost his utility runes today or not so will probably add that here if so.
I did also get the changed character model when I did log on again after quitting out and coming back into the game.
I also tried to use some backups/roll backs to see if it happened at loading in or not but it seemed to not have fixed anything.
Only other issue (might not be related to this issue) was 1 second of frame freezing/stuttering happening every 1-3 minutes and seemingly tied to the realm as my friend also had them at the same exact time.

This shit keeps happening to me aswell! Had it like 5-6 times now, every time it happens after I try to pick up loot from t4 pestilence boss and my character freezes in a pickup animation and im unable to move/attack/do anything. Then I log back in and everything works fine EXCEPT my utility runes are all gone, I have to unlock 2 slots at watcher again (all 4 slots are locked when this happens but after a relog it goes to 2/4). Also the food limit goes back to 5/10 when I already had it all unlocked. Frustrating
Just happened again, basically I cant do pestilence now without it happening and my utility runes being deleted…
Same here. I am not sure that character look has changed though since it was masked and I already forget the look. But, each time character picks a loaded pickup such as pestilence danger 4 boss corpse same thing happens. Once in a while it happens during normal loots. I have enough characters, so that should not bother me, but this one has the most item blueprint research unlocked, and the character can not use the question mark random research at the scribe table anymore as well which is even stranger.
Can we have a hotfix on this bug asap please?
Other bugs are annoying, but this one is game breaking
I cannot farm any resources or pickup any loot now without a chance to get stuck and have all utility runes removed
It happens not just on looting bosses, I got stuck while looting a mere goat
How can this game be played without any looting
Also happened while unlocking a fast travel point, just stuck and nothing happens after contributing items to it
If you get stuck and quit to main menu instead of having a friend to unstuck you by punching, your character is doomed
This is me creating new realm and logging in now
I’m instantly transformed into handsome blonde dude with locked runes and logs are weird
Every time my friend got stuck when we played together I was around to unstuck him
And he was lucky to not get this bug while playing alone in the first place, unlike me
Maybe if I delete all reals and this characters, I’ll be able to play normally again. But who knows
