I’m getting pretty good at parrying and now they’re making it cost stamina on shields too, making it cost stamina makes it no different than just blocking with a shield, the risk in parrying is that you will take a full damage hit if you screw up the timing. Please revert this change back to parrying with shields costing no stamina. Becuase now if I parry and miss then I lose health and Stamina now? Might as well just block and lose a tiny bit of stamina and take a pinch of damage. I now get 1 less attack with a successful parry so now why even bother running a shield I may as well use a bow in my off hand to do damage from a distance instead. Shields are useless now since I can just parry with normal weapons and if I mess it up I still take damage just like if I had a shield but miss the parry.
Just tested this on my sword and board character for about an hour and now parrying feels significantly worse than before. PLEASE moon studios revert this change.
