i think keeping it like it is, is more better because you actually need to read the quest instead of following arrow or marks in the map.
Well said. There are some dailies that are annoying such as the crab quest. But those will probably be ironed out.
I dont need arrows just beter defined location in quest description. Saying just kill x in namless pass doesnt really tell you where to go.
Funny thing about the crab quest.
I always take those and finish it without any problems. Then I read about how the crab quest are hard and there’s always one crab missing. I thought that’s nonsense. It’s easy to find and easy to kill. Exactly on my next play, I took that quest and can’t find 1 crab. A bit too long anyway. I found it after scouring a bit. I think the areas that often missed are the mining area in the west tower (near where you find the storage room key). Above it, there are stairs that leads to another mining area, a bit to the left, there are wood platform. Another one is tower at the Mariner’s Keep entrance, you access it from the Shallows by the vines. Lastly the treasure area behind the banner. Everything else should be easy enough to find.
The Plague Doctor on the other hand… took me almost 20 minutes to find.
Anyway, I like the “naration” better for the quests rather than map marker or shiny arrow. I do think the quests system could be improved tho.
Crab people crab people…
I wish the dailies granted you reputation = access to a special faction specific vendor. Gives more incentive to complete those even if you dont need the rewards.
That’s interesting. Upgrading the vendors unlock more items and finishing quests unlock perks. Perhaps something like discounts, free item every x day, unlock unique hidden quests, etc.
Aye! Could also include useless RP items for people to have a gold sink at.
