Hello, I was doing some pestilence runs without any problem, until I went to kill the boss, but it didn’t spawn, only the icon.
I tried waiting until the zone reset, but still no boss. Also tried using an effigy, but it didn’t let me.
Does someone knows what else could I try? or is my world doomed?
You can reset Pestilence zones by talking to the plate headed guy in the Crucible, that’s the only thing I can think of.
Did you try logging out of your game and logging back in?
Yes, already tried closing the game, also changing the difficulty, but nothing.
I didn’t know you could reset it, you mean the guy from the 5th floor? I’m going to try that,
Yep, the guy from the 5th floor! He has an option to “Cleanse Pestilence,” now that won’t get the boss to load, but it will reset the zone back to normal and let you do Pestilence somewhere else.

Seems like it worked, unfortunately it doesn’t count as being completed, so I have to wait 1h 30min to see if the bosses in other areas spawn. Thanks for the help

that happens in this area in mariner’s keep if you also are in the middle of the chef quest when you spawn pestilence boss and won’t work until you finish the quest and rejoin zone. is that applicable to you ?

Oh, so that was the reason. I accepted the quest yesterday to get the key, and the bug happened after that.
Gotta do the quest then.
