After the first clear of Pestilence Spread for “Spilled Blood” quest, not a single Pestilence Spread spawned for almost 2days irl. Is this a bug? If it is, this is quite frustrating since that is almost the only way to farm endgame materials and gears plz look into this.
This is also happening in my game. I have not seen a new outbreak since the patch dropped, I cleared the last one 2 days ago. I know they are on a 24-hour lockout with a chance to spawn after, but that chance seems very low seeing as not a single zone has popped one in literally days.

Have you tried to go to a fire place in your prefered area and donate some items? Pestilence will then appear
I ran out of items before I realized that was a system, so I can’t make an effigy to burn. This is the first save I have gotten to endgame on.
You can burn anything to make them spawn, the effigy is only to spawn the boss directly without the progress bar.

Thank you for clarifying that. This worked for me, hopefully it will for the original reporter of the issue. I was worried I was going to need to start a new save to get resources to jump start the loop again.
Maybe as feedback for the devs, clarify how this system works to avoid future frustration? I shouldn’t need to ask why this is broken on the forum with in-game tooltips, it would be nice if it was called out when you unlock the mode that burning items exists and areas have cooldowns.

Yeah, this is bugged, they should be spawning every few hours and when you come after full day whole map should be covered. There is not a single one spawned for me for 2 days and I don’t want to spend materials just to spawn them in.

Same here, outbreaks not spawning, and it’s been more than 24 hours since we finished the campaign and cleaned the first one in a new co-op realm.
Last 2 days also no spawns on my 4 realms that can have plague.
Atleast you can manually spawn them by burning items, just burning some food is pretty cheap to start with.
But its also kinda nice, can do bounties easier that way, since plague always block those.
Since it happens to so many, I assume everyone has this? Must have started due to one of hotfixes, since it worked fine last week.

Same bug here. I killed the first boss ,which had no loot, since then (2 days) nothing is spawning and i cant burn items to spawn the pestilence.

ive been playing for days now
and ive finished the first infested plague on the shallows and killed the boss,
but the pestilence/infested plague zone hasnt spawned since then its been like 2/3 irl days
Bug, between 1-3 zones per day should get infested.
If you want, however, you can burn items at bonfires to make the areas infested.

Would everyone here please try again after the recent hotfix (hotfix 4).
It might be possible you need to wait another 24 hour window before this resolves itself automatically, so please hold off on premature conclusions, thank you!

I have the same problem, infected areas have not appeared after the first pass for the third day!

Pestilence/Pleague spawned 6 times after i got to the end game and after the patch no more respawns. I can use Torn Efiggy to spawn it but i don’t know if that is the only way or it should spawn on they own after 24h. 3 days have passed and no spawn.
