Still in the Black Trench, I encountered a strange glitch. I was able to pass through the second locked door simply by persistently pressing against it. I went right through without needing a key. (I’ve attached a video recording of this).

This leads me to my current problem. I’ve reached a high cliff where I’m supposed to jump down to the bottom of the cavern. From what I’ve seen, the bottom area should be filled with water, allowing Cerim to land safely.
I thought maybe I needed to find a lever in the Water Channel area to fill the cavern water, I’m stuck. As it is now, there’s no water at the bottom, making it impossible to survive the fall.
Is the water missing because I glitched through the previous door and skipped a necessary trigger or event?
Any help would be appreciate
