Odd "bad server online" experience on base game after beta

Movement feels sluggish/stuttery … There is a noticeable delay in damage when attacking (half second) … as if I am playing online with very high ping (although beta was very responsive) … also some ice skating and rubber banding.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

I did some further testing:
Any Old Char + Any Old Realm = delayed damage, stuttery movement, lag like behaviour, etc.
New Char + Any Old Realm = normal expected behaviour
Any Old Char + New Realm = normal expected behaviour

What I did with old char … with no affect
Removed all armour, rings and weapons and re-equiped
Respecced

So the issue is somehow the combination of Any Old Char and Any Old Realm

I have found a way to solve this issue for 2 of my chars on the Main Realm:
(i have one char that this did not work for on the main realm … and all other Realms do not work)

So, Old Char + Old Realm = issues
(if you have this issue, it would seem from my POV all your old chars will have this issue)

Solutionish:

  1. Create New Realm (you only need to do this once)
  2. Take Old Char to New Realm = no issues
  3. Take Old Char back to Any Old Realm = no issues

Do this for each Old Char you have.

In summary the issue is not with the actual chars or the realms. It is somehow the combination of an old char and an old realm.
