No backstabing possible

Hi,

I’m not sure if it’s a bug, but since patch 4, I can’t backstab anymore. It used to work before, both in the tutorial and during gameplay. Since Patch 4, however, I can’t backstab either while sneaking or otherwise.

Normally, the orange orb should enlarge when sneaking up on an enemy to signal the backstab, but neither that nor the backstab itself works, no matter how close I am to the enemy’s back.

I’ve also tested different weapons. dagger, swords, claymore, none of them work.

strange, after the 4th patch I backstab easy. I haven’t tried it after the 5th yet

I still can do backstabs, but they seem more difficult to execute now compared to earlier I think

I cannot backstab any longer after patch on July 25th, 2024.

I was backstabbing my way through the campaign with my first character. Then, after this recent patch, I cannot backstab at all. I’ve tried dozens and dozens of times with different weapons. No luck.

The skull icons appears but zero backstabbing. Sneaking up doesn’t even work.

I’m so sad because this was such a fun part of the game.
