I cannot backstab any longer after patch on July 25th, 2024.
I was backstabbing my way through the campaign with my first character. Then, after this recent patch, I cannot backstab at all. I’ve tried dozens and dozens of times with different weapons and 2 new characters. No luck.
The skull icons appears but zero backstabbing. Sneaking up doesn’t even work.
I’m so sad because this was such a fun part of the game.
Help!
Backstabbing is not unattainable, but it has always been difficult for me, and I couldn’t understand the criteria for determining backstabbing. Couldn’t find the right spot. So much so that I gave up on backstabbing as a feature.

Before the patch 6 days ago, I could backstab no problem when the skull icon appeared. Now, I cannot make a backstab happen no matter how I try.
