Back stab and other

Hello i would like to report that in many instances i was right behind the mob and the backstab didn’t work. I was standing still behind him and not event che skull appeared.
I have a golden sword that has a affix that says that when you stack pestilence you will gain an affix that will give you life steal. While it works with normal mobs that when hit for the second time they get infected and when i hit them the third i gain back life, for bosses this does not work.
Does backstab work for bosses as well? because it does not seem to work for me.
Back when the game was released when i parried a strike from a boss, the boss would interrupt its attack. Now every time i parry it does not interrupt its attack. The problem is very easy to see with the boss of the nameless passage where when he rotates the weapon, even if you parry it, he will continue rotating it while back in the days it would stop.
When you are ‘heavy’ and you try to push the boss, the boss does not lose balance… is ti normal?

As far as I know, you can’t backstab bosses and big foes. I don’t parry so I can’t relate. Instead of backstab try a charged attack to stagger them, it’s the closest you can do.

The problem is that I couldn’t backstab also normal foes or slighter bigger ones with two-handed weapons. Now I honestly think you should have the ability to know if you can backstab someone before you get too close. Many times when i was approaching non boss foes, the small white dot was appearing on his back, but then when i was close to them no skull appeared not allowing me to backstab.
There is for sure some kind of bug.
For the charge attack, I tried it on a boss and it staggered him for so little time that i didnt even manage attack him once because of his reaction.
Hope someone explains to me the mechanic behind my big sword because a golden sword that can only steal life from normal foes because it can stack up pestilence, but cannot do it on bosses becomes pretty useless.
I also would like to point out that the icons that appear under you health bar whether they are buffs or debuffs should in some way be clearer or at least have a way to understand what they do without assuming that you have to know.

I agree that it’s awfull when a mechanic just doesn’t work with bosses. You built up an entire combination of items + enchantments + gems based on that an then a boss it’s inume to it. There should be somekind of use of that mecanic against bosses, otherwise people just would avoid that kind of builds because are a waste of time at boss fights.
