Hello,
I’d like to share a few suggestions to help improve your game after spending 115 hours playing it. Thank you for your work — it’s been a real favorite of mine (the art direction is absolutely stunning).
Unfortunately, I can’t play as much as I’d like because my PC struggles to run the game properly. I had to subscribe to GeForce NOW at €20 per month, but it’s limited to 100 hours of playtime, which restricts how much I can enjoy the game.
Despite that, thank you again for your amazing work and passion.
-
Add a pet/companion system.
-
Implement a dedicated storage chest for runes, as they currently take up way too much space in regular storage.
-
Provide more detailed stats (life steal, elemental damage, etc.).
-
Create a training area to freely test builds and abilities.
-
Introduce a relationship system with NPCs in towns: bringing them specific resources or completing tasks in exchange for rewards.
-
Provide more information about runes : concentration cost, movesets, etc., without having to socket them into a weapon (which can ruin the weapon since runes can’t be removed without destroying it).
-
Allow custom rune keybinds.
-
Give housing a real purpose. Right now, it doesn’t offer much. For example, in Enshrouded, there’s a comfort system where placing furniture in your home grants bonuses—this gives players an actual reason to decorate and build.
-
After 115 hours of playtime, I’ve only gone to the tavern once, which feels like a missed opportunity. Why not add mini-games, as some players have suggested?
-
Add a detailed monster journal or bestiary : what they drop, their weaknesses, and other useful info.
-
Include world puzzles and secret quests. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems like there aren’t any at the moment—and NRFTW feels like the perfect game for that kind of content.
-
Either remove or greatly reduce the Fallen Amber cost for respec. This material is already heavily used for item modification, and it’s very expensive to get what you want.
-
Add furniture to display weapons and armor, like in Skyrim.
-
Offer paid skin packs. Personally, I’d be happy to spend 5–10€ on skins to help support the game.
