Also maybe there should be some way to mine faster. Or a more expensive option, like maybe explosives can be set to denonate the ore instead of just using a pickaxe.

+100 to this one, after minging or chopping wood for the Nth time, it is very frustrating.
Resources should be looted by holding the Y button at the end of mining or chopping.
Instead, they resources jump around and you have to tap Y more than once to get them in your bags.
