Hello,
In the game currently we are able to upgrade shops and buy houses. Why aren’t we able to buy shops and own people’s homes in the cities? I would like to be able to expand my influence and reach.
Mechanically:
- Gives us a passive income. Once a day, or once a week. It matters not.
- Asynchronous Trading. Allow trading similar to Path of exile 1&2. Trade items to other players in the market for currency.
- Alters dialogue. A lot of people dislike the Cerim. I want to hear them change their tone when I own their home.
- Produces extra side quests with options. Maybe I want to be a benevolent Mayor and help the needy. Or maybe, the Muffin man down on Muffin Lane didn’t pay his taxes. He just happens to fall down a flight of stairs, breaking both of his knee caps.
I believe Fable 2 did something similar to this. It would be nice to have implemented in the game. It is great that people want to be farmers or fishermen. I want to be the mob boss of Sacrament and more. We all get our hands dirty, one way or another.
