I don’t know if anyone has written about this or not, sorry in advance. Maybe I’ve played too many city-building simulators, but if this is already a thing here, why not improve it a little bit?)
-
I would really like there to be more houses for purchase, since there will be more content at release, and I have an idea with friends to buy several houses in the game to turn them into mini-warehouses, but I have a feeling there won’t be enough space…
-
Also, it’s a bit inconvenient to place interior items in the house, because the furniture is attached to the player and you have to spin around… Better make it like in The Sims, where you just have a camera, you move it around and place things, because I spent about 10 minutes trying to put a chest in the corner the way I wanted, but my character wouldn’t turn the right way — it’s very inconvenient.
-
Maybe this is overkill, but make upgraded houses, meaning one building could contain 2 separate houses for different players at once. I think 2–3 upgraded houses in the city would be enough, especially since there already seems to be a part of the city blocked off by partitions, so there should be enough space. Upgraded houses would also need to be leveled up, but at the house itself rather than through an NPC.
-
I’d like to be able to place interior items in the city itself as well, such as lanterns, benches, etc., so that each world has its own vibe, and everyone builds the city the way they see it.)
-
For furniture, etc., to have different material types, color palettes, or something like that. But you can’t change it after creation. You craft, say, a chest with 40 slots, it costs 12 Bronze and 12 Silver, but if you want it to be made of Pine, then an additional 4–6 Pine boards are needed, acting like an outer covering.
-
It would also be cool to have something like a player shop. In the city, there would be available spots for building stores (2–3 zones) where players can put items up for sale and NPCs/citizens can buy them.
-
Besides Sacrament, there are also other villages. I’d also like to be able to do the same things with those villages as with Sacrament, like upgrading, buying houses, etc. My friends could be in different villages, while I’m in Sacrament, and we’d all have our own houses, etc. — more choice for the player.
-
Please add the ability to remodel the exterior of houses, so you can change the look using resources as well, to tailor houses for specific purposes — like a storage facility, etc.
-
In Sacrament, there’s a tower where we can sleep and have 2 chests. Please make it possible to build and place interiors in the tower too. Maybe some of my friends or even I myself would want to live in the tower — that would be awesome) And it would have its own furniture.)
-
Add more decor, at least paintings, for starters.)
I understand that maybe not all of these ideas will be implemented, or perhaps none of them at all( but there are different players, and there might even be those like me who bought this game just because you can build in your city and decorate your house. I really like the game, and precisely because of the city-building feature, I like it even more, since I can take a break after farming and start sprucing up my city. But so far, these features aren’t very developed. I really hope these features get implemented, and I’d be happy if even a part of them makes it in.
