So yeah for some reason all of the enemies even though defeated respawn (sometimes even without dying). The difficulty is already insane (with level 20 character in 21 level zone, 44 int +10 weapon) I am unable to progress rn 
I also experienced this issue too. While it didn’t impede my progression, it was certainly annoying sometimes.
