Accepting the Lowlands Bounty Seen the Light removes the ladder needed to access the related cave.
The intended way to do the bounty is to enter via the bottom of the cavern, and walk through a door. A door that can be locked if players accept the bounty before exploring the cavern.
If players have never explored the cave, the door at the bottom will be locked. This ladder and the locked door are the only ways to access the cavern, thus preventing the player from accessing the cavern where the bounty target is located. Dropping the bounty quest respawns the ladder, allowing the player to open the locked door. If players don’t know there is supposed to be a ladder at the top of the cavern, accepting this bounty can cause great frustration.
after defeating the boss of the lowland meadows location, I also explored the cave and the first time I succeeded, but all the subsequent times I simply could not climb to the top because where there should be a ladder there is none.
I remove the quest and after the ladder respawn I open the gate. If you go from the button and up, the cave does not allow you to get futher up after the elevator. I had this quest 3 times and no matter what I do I can not complete this quest. Easy way to fix this is to let the ladder stays all the time. Breach have been out since the 30/5 and it still doesn’t work. Moon should fix it asap since it is a daily quest.
It is possible to ascend from the bottom, there’s a bit of a puzzle/challenge you need to solve.
You have to start sending the elevator up, then run around and jump up the boxes from the left side. Once you’re on them and can climb to the top of the pile of boxes, it lets you jump up to the upper level of the cave and continue through.
For me this quest is not completable because of a missing ladder in a lowland meadow cave, if am dumb i am sorry.
I guess this could be a bug, but reporting there is too much hassle, so im here.
Ladder never asset seems to be missing from a Lowlands Meadows Cave. The cave is located near the lumber mill and is only accessible once the water is drained.
Yep, I have same bug. As I see the cave is pitch dark, as I have. Last time with a new character the cave was light, but the ladder missing again… The parts of the ladder were on the ground!
When trying to complete the Seen The Light bounty cave entrance that is supposed to have a ladder to explore the cave did not and is not spawning for me.
So I dropped the bounty and went back to the cave (it’s actually lit when not on the bounty) and the ladder appears in the aforementioned location. I traipsed across the cave to the door which I had found locked and was able to open it. After picking the bounty up again, I was able to go back to cave from the opposite end with the door open.
That ladder definitely needs to be fixed though for the bounty.
I have the acquired the Bounty Quest “Seen the Light”, which requires me to kill some plagued cave dwellers in the Lowlands Meadow. However, the cave where they are located appears to be inaccessible. The western entrance you can enter, however you quickly come across a dead end with what looks to be a spot for a ladder, that is missing said ladder. At the eastern entrance (just before the Three Sisters) you are quickly met by a door which only opens from the other side. I am wondering if there is another entrance to this cave that anyone has found?
Thanks for replying - I discovered this myself a few days ago; it appears that the bounty quest alters the environment and this specifically locked me out of the area. Definitely good to know in the future, but this kind of thing definitely falls under a Bug/Issue then.
Seen the Light quest cave is broken, no way to progress into the cave. There is an incomplete ladder and you cant make the jump across, even with no armor on. Anyone know of this issue?
