Low fps and power draw on 3060ti

Hi,

I’m experiencing a performance / power usage issue in No Rest for the Wicked and I’d like to report it because it seems to be game-specific.

My GPU refuses to draw more than ~110W while playing the game, which results in lower performance than expected. The card is clearly not being fully utilized. What’s important — this behavior does NOT occur in other games or stress tests.

My setup:

  • GPU: RTX 3060 Ti (Gigabyte)

  • RAM: 16GB dual channel

  • Motherboard: ASUS Prime B660M-A WiFi D4

  • PSU: 650W

  • Resolution: 3440x1440

Problem details:

  • GPU power draw stays around ~100–110W max

  • GPU usage is not reaching full load

  • FPS does not improve even when lowering settings

  • During loading screens the GPU briefly pulls up to ~200W, but once in gameplay it drops and stays limited

  • FPS usually around 25, sometimes 35

  • Temperatures are normal

  • No thermal throttling

What I have already tried:

  • Updated GPU drivers

  • Checked Windows power plan (set to High Performance)

  • Enabled XMP for RAM

  • Checked GPU power limits and monitoring tools

  • Verified game files

  • Tested different graphics settings and resolutions

  • Disabled background apps and overlays

  • Tested other games — GPU reaches full power normally there

Because the card behaves correctly in other titles, this looks like it may be related to how the game utilizes GPU load or power states.

If there are any debug flags, launch parameters, or logs I can provide, I’ll be happy to help.

Thanks in advance for looking into this.

Hi Kryzysztof,

Sorry for the late reply.

Is this still happening for you?
