So I made a build where I use health instead of focus and massive heals on fatality using a shock wand and seeing as I am ranged and I no longer need focus or stamina much (or food) I lowered them to 10 and put all the extra points in intelligence. When I use lightning bolt on my wand I’m literally nuking level 4 pestilence bosses in 3-4 hits sometimes less. I have to ask is this working as intended because I feel really ridiculously overpowered.

for the current stage of the game and where we are with contents and updates i personally think being OP in endgame is alright. don’t we all want that figurative dragon sword +10 and feel super powerful after our struggles?
i would not get too accustomed to it tho, as things likely will change and or get nerfed again with upcoming updates. i feel stuff like that would be super OP for multiplayer, so the chance is high it might not be there anymore by then.

Yeah I get it, it feels like they gave us all the top tier stuff in the game to test it before they introduced all the content. My guess is the added difficulty levels and the eventual end game will be much more difficult. Obviously I don’t want to cheese everything but it’s nice finding a build that works so well so I guess I did find the +10 dragon sword for now.
Yep, you are and it’s in part because you’re over levelled and in part because there is no balance in the game currently. Rune damage and rune cost are very sporadic.
Since we know multiplier update is next maybe we should all go play minesweeper for a year and check back in for the combat update. It’s not as if there’s a road map or anything. We’re just told wait so wait we shall …

but let’s also hope that it’s not like that…if there are already all the objects of the definitive version, the game would just be trashed.
the legendaries are one more disgusting than the other, the game is totally lacking in the minimum balance, the armors are pitiful in their mechanics, and it’s better not to talk about runes and weapons…
It certainly needs work but it’s got some good potential
