I think we should be able to change the elemental infusion of a rune, at the cost of Embers or the gem of the corresponding element
Example 1: Your Claymore is infused with Pestilence, and you want a rune that deals fire damage to use against enemies with a lot of health after you’ve inflicted Pestilence on them You can take the rune that you like the most like for example: “Reap” and make it a Fire rune at the cost of a Gem or Embers.
Most runes don’t do elemental damage but reflect the damage of the weapon, Many of the runes that do elemental damage already have many variations for each damage type. Devs can add elemental variations for the few runes that don’t have them, and this will unlock the possibility of creating a system where we can change the element of each rune at will, instead of haveing to find the correctly infused rune we can directly infuse the runes with the element we need.
Add the Wind element (or rock or pure or another alternative the name doesn’t matter) to have runes that do physical damage even if your weapon is infused
Example: Your Weapon is infused with ice, after you’ve inflicted Freost you can use a wind-infused “Eruption”, or if you don’t have the focus a wind-infused “front flip kick”, to break the ice.
What do you think?
- I like the ideas
- The “Pure” Physical Damage Idea doesn’t convince me
- The Rune Infusion Idea doesn’t convince me
- The Ideas don’t convince me
