i am playing on new patch - Breach Hotfix1 I got killed by invisible enemy,
I could not find him when i came back to my death location.
It is the bird men. The reinforcements that they call is invisible, and stay invisible even after engaging the fight.
It was definitly not damage overtime.
First - there are no vines in this area,
Second - i would have visible status under healthbar.
Third - if you look closely you can see that my charachter moved after picking drop from wolf like it was locked on enemy witch i manualy dismissed,
And you can see enemy appeared from nowhere after my death.
The issue is exceptionally prevalent in Marine Woods, specially when the birdmen call for reinforcement.
Can confirm, I just experienced this bug. Something invisible was hitting me, and I can only imagine it has something to do with the recent patch’s changes to culling models/assets to improve performance. Marin Woods as well, in particular the bird people tree tops I experienced a lot of this.
I also sometimes have enemies that appear out of no where in the middle of an attack animation I can only assume were culled until they came into view, which makes their attacks unpredictable and cheap. I imagine this is fixable, though.

I also experienced this issue during my playthrough of the Marin Woods today.
A temporary “workaround” is to land a hit on them to get their health bar to show up on screen. It’s not ideal, but at least you get a frame of reference of where they are.

not sure if this is related to my previous post about running on a workstation device but i thought i would mention it
- Now and then i find invisible enemies. I am walking around and get attacked by someone i cant see. If i look hard enough, i see a health bar but no character
- Now and then when entering a new location, either through fast travel or walking there, i see the environment build itself. When leaving Sacrament, i cross the bridge and i see naked bodies on the floor. 2 - 3 seconds later, the clothing will spawn on them
- Has the auto-aim been adjusted? I use a wand build and unless i am close enough to physically hit them with the wand, i cant hit them with an elemental acctack. Every one of my ice / fire attacks just misses them.
Invisible enemy at various locations seem to be under ground. Their skull marker shows on the floor and they can be hit but completely invisible.
One that always is present is at the Lumber Mill, at the base of the ladder going up to the tower.

This issue is back 07Feb2026. I wasn’t having this problem last month but tonight I am dying to invisible enemies in Marin Woods (Birdmen) that are invisible. These are possibly reinforcements. This is incredibly frustrating and just makes me not want to play the game tbh. Can it be fixed please?

To add to the bird man issue, it seems that while fishing, being hit out of the fishing animation can proc invis to mobs. Replicable but not on every try. Only on mobs running away/getting out of a certain radius.
Assuming it can hppn on every farming anim
the birdmen seem to be invisible while in a specific area sometimes. not only if they had been summoned.
