Based from what I experienced from the start of the game till reaching sacrament it seems like a lot of items are hard to interact with. It takes me a few laps around something to get consistent interact promt and then if I by mistake take one step to the side it dissapears.
Wishpers give me the most trouble. But some NPC/gatherables and loot chests also pose a challange sometimes.
