this game is amazing. hopefully they would make it as big as Elden Ring and even bigger map, with great graphics and pleasant gameplay.
I love the solo player aspects. I have no interest in multiplayer. I value that is has that ability. If it turns to a multiplayer centric game it will loose my interest.
A large single detailed map would be amazing. I was really stunned at the depth of the map when i started. Even though it is currently small it feels large.
I think the best thing to do is to completely separate the data for pvp and pve. In this way, all balance adjustments for pvp will not affect pve players. Causes harm to both people at the same time. And don’t add forced invasion, which will affect players who just want to play PVE content with their friends.
This is a single player game that has multiplayer components to it. Just like all the Soulslike games. Multiplayer is important because it allows you to enjoy games with your friends (or rather receive help from your friends) but this game will not sacrifice the single player experience to do it. PvP in Soulslike games is not balanced at all and it doesn’t matter.
There will always exist really cheesy tactics. If you wanna duel people like that you will be able to. Trying to “balance PvP” will just take the fun out of it. It’s just averages out the uniqueness of everything and makes it boring. So I’m quite confident that this is not the direction that the game will take.
It will be a nice single player Soulslike ARPG that you can play with friends, or if you want to duel friends in some bizzare and chaotic ways.
I think it will be a lot of fun.
