Huge QOL, make run not reduce stamina

Moving without run toggled on is really slow and not fun at all. Having it turned on just runs your stamina all the way down so you cant attack or dodge. This one thing alone is starting to get so frustrating that its turning me off from this game.

Movement speed is an important cobat stat, not consuming stamina to run is a big Buff.

Currently there are unique daggers that have this effect, it would be cool if there was a ring with the same effect.

But until then use stamina buffs you can find many, on armor, on weapons, on rings stamina regeneration, max stamina, reduced stamina consumption.
Having them all together solves the problem for now and is also very strong in combat

i have some here and there it just makes combat tedious unless you use parry and i dont, so maybe this just isnt the game for me. i enjoy the world and that combat and i was doing fine up until the huntress, its just taken all the fun out because constantly out of stamina and trying to toggle the run off and on on M&K while doing everything else it is just to much. i know the game is designed for controller but i havent used one since 2008. just my feedback though, the game needs more love for M&K users, especially since its not on consoles.

For mouse and keyboard there is little to do the game is clearly designed with the controller in mind, I played all the Souls games and Sekiro with mouse and keyboard but I prefer this game with the controller but I can advise you to use the “run towards cursor” function for platforming

You can go around the map put some more levels into stamina, insert the stamina gems in the armor and weapons that you use, you might find rings that help you with stamina. You can upgrade weapons and armor.

You can use Embers to reroll Enchantments into Stamina Enchantments
if you think mobility is the problem you can try a light build with the dash instead of the roll put points in Equip Load and use light armor (always of the appropriate level)

You can try to do some crucible runs to unlock the respeck to redistribute the levels you have assigned better now that you know more of the game.

You can also use the active item that gives you stamina.

I find that the boss you are facing is easier if you go around them than if you run away, you can also look up a guide on the boos if you want better advice.

I was wondering how many people do play this game on M&K…
I can use both forms of input, but will pick the best one suited for each type of game (even if I think most games are better suited controllers, if supported obviously)… helping a friend prompted me to jump on M&K, and I can say I can’t understand why anyone would want to suffer through it… I mean, even on controller there are some issues (sprint and dodge on the same button, etc.) but on M&K it plays like arse, and even someone inexperienced w/ controllers would still fair better IMHO…

I play with M&K with preset run at cursor (SHIFT) or walk (CTRL).

Doing fine at platforming, just be aware of cursor movement & location. Maybe it is just me cause familiar with mouse use in game (experience in Dota, StarCraft etc).

For combat I combine it with WASD for direction dodge, yes it is a bit weird.

there you go…

I’m not questioning if is possible or not, I’m questioning if is preferable or not…
is good to have the option, if for any reason, one can’t, or will not, use a controller…
to me personally, it felt very weird, to the extent of taking away from my enjoyment of the game… (yeah, I’ve played Starcraft, and Warcraft b4 that, and other similar for years too, still don’t think is the same, nor that M&K give any benefit over controllers here, outside of strictly personal preference, obviously)
maybe if Moon would try and implement a better scheme, tho developing those is time/resource intensive to be sure…
