Guaranteed Loot Rarity

My thoughts at 100 hours: I absolutely adore this game. I think there’s so much potential, and this game will be a GOTY contender upon 1.0 release. My biggest request for the devs is to make exploration more rewarding. The randomized loot system is fine when generally killing enemies or farming obvious chests, but I found after I played through and saw the map the first time and understood this mechanic, I didn’t feel a huge urge to finesse and finagle the map to try and find hidden chests or loot, as it would just be randomized and likely useless to me. It would be nice if very specific chests had a guaranteed loot rarity drop within them upon the first time finding them, for instance, a unique item or recipe for home decor that can only be found in that specific chest, so that if you go the extra mile and explore your way around, you’ll feel that immediate gratification for taking the time to do so by being rewarded with something worth the time spent.

This is a weird feeling too right ? I remember playing Diablo 3 with my GF last year. She had the instinct to want to finish and explore dungeons completely. But knowing the way loot works, I was often reminding her that it was probably more efficient to just jump to the next dungeon or quest since everything is randomized anyway.
