Floaty Movesets making lock on a disadvantage

So Ive been having a generally good rime with Breach, started with my old faithful Daggers and I’m currently using Claws, I really like the weapon but I’m finding an issue with a few different weapons right now: the moveset is way too floaty.

Ive been spamming crucible and have lost so many runs to randomly throwing myself off a cliff because I charge straight past my lock on target and the momentum contiunes, esspecially if I double input. Theres also an issue where if I ‘overkill’ an enemy, i.e it dies on the last hit of the last input but Ive already hit the attack button again, this can also, very very easily lead to death by gravity.

Random knockback and falls to crappy layouts was a given in Crucible but for some reason it feels so much worse at the moment. I think I asked for this back in the first few weeks of the first release but my god, can we have some colision detection to stop auto attack momentum throwing you off bridges / legdes etc?
