Enemies, frozen mid attack, still can deal damage

So, I froze a few guys in the middle of their attack animation, and when I approached to hit them with my staff, I ended up taking damage. I believe I collided with their ‘attack collider’ every time I encountered this issue, like when I walked through the axe while the guy holding it was frozen. I can’t really tell how often this happens, but I witnessed this situation about 5-6 times today
