Enchantments: Wording and pharasing

First of all congratulation for all those the achievements and coming back stronger. Im glad you got rid of those op enchantments, and i hope you adjusted difficulty as well. All those changes are amazing and followed my and many people feedback on the forum. I hope the focus attacks dont gain focus ever again =D. But i want to point something out: some enchantments wording and phrasing is pretty unclear. For example:

-the focus gain increase based on durability… what is a player supposed to do ? not repair his gear ? repair it ? or roll a piece with low/high max duranbility? roll a malus that reduces max durability or increases max durability somehow? unclear, even if a experienced player can see and test what th item does the casual player will just be confused. For example, if the increase of the focus gain is based on having lower max durability than the max durability intended for that particular piece of gear and max durability is 116 and the max focus increase is 22% and the max duraability decrease is 75 and the current decrease is 68, you should write: as this item max durability (116) decreases, focus gain increased by 1% for each (75/22=3,4) durability missing up to 22%.Current gain (68/3,4=19,5% ).

Or: Every (75/22=3,4) max durability missing from (116) focus gain increased by 1%, current gain (68/3,4=19,5% ). Max gain 22%.Or even shorter:

Focus gain +19%. (Each 3,4 max durability missing from 116 increases focus gain by 1% up to 22%).

-Attack speed increased based on durability same reasoning as before, how does that work, tell the player. word it better. What is the current % increase?

-Gain 2 focus periodically ? what is the period.

-Low health, low stamina, low focus, is the player able to visually tell when he is in that state and control resouces to use enchantments when he wants ? -Deal 15% damage on damage taken: is that a reflect? how is the 15% calculated ? just write: reflect 15% of recived damage , if is not reflect write where is that 15% coming from.

-Deal 13% damage on parry, is that a reflect ? see above.

-You have gain 10% health on kill, gain 9% health on stagger and 13% health on a kill of a staggered enemy, so the hardest and most situational perk has just a 30% increased healing. And is a backstab/finisher on a staggered enemy going to proc this 13% health gain effect or the staggers fades out? the stagger bar should stop during backstab or you needs another solution.

-Gain 13 focus on any buildup… what is a buildup, you need to tell the players what this words mean on the bottom of the item. Is it a debuff build up ? when do we get the 13 focus ? after the build up bar is filled and the status inflicted ? we gain 13 focus for every hit that fills the bar? (that could be exploited by low damage fast hitting weapons) ?

-Stagger bar under the player is not that visible and has the same color of the focus bar. I would find another visual solution or change color at least.

-Damage increased by 20% after sprinting for 2 seconds, how long that buff lasts ? do we get a visual indicator such a aura on the character or a icon somewhere ? is that applied just to the next hit? can we charge a attack ? can we use a single hitting rune attack or a multiple hitting rune attack ? unclear.

That said im sure you will deliver a great game.

i assume this is what you mean? Hard to See Health, Focus, and Stamina Wheel

you are always welcome to share your feedback there or upvote the post.

as for your other points, they are valid. since the enchantment system will get a lot of changes, i’d just speculate here, that after april 30th some of these things might already be solved

Yes the wheels are hard to see sometimes, so is the stagger bar of our character plus it shares the same color of the focus bar/wheel. I would just add them on the top left corner Tbh. I would also rework the food system tbh. id make the food just a buffs and implement flasks like in the other souls.

the flask system has been dismissed by the devs, see also here: Updates and discussions from the official Discord - #55 by Chemile0n

i think these are valid points. aside from that food will also get some changes in the breach update, removing the cooldown timer. so they effectively work a bit more like potions.
