Enchantment reroll mechanic way too easy to miss

The possibility to reroll item enchantments using ‘Fallen Embers’ is easily one of the most crucial game mechanics in NRFTW. It’s the foundation for a functioning item-build system and hence for character progression and a smooth gaming experience. There’s just one catch: (as far as I remember – mea culpa if I’m wrong) the game doesn’t tell you that/how rerolls work!

It took me dozens of hours of gaming time and a char reaching Lvl 28 / “The Winged Brood“ to finally realize (thanks to pure coincidence and some youtube videos) that item enchantments CAN be rerolled! This insight left me literally speechless for a couple of minutes. I just thought to myself „How the f### could this have happened? And what else am I possibly missing?“.

The obvious answer to the first question is easy however: there is no hint, no tooltip, no tutorial, no nothing (besides maybe a line in the ‘The Breach’ patch notes) that explains to the players, that or how enchantment rerolls actually work. But after sleeping on this for a night I came to the conclusion that the problem goes deeper: the way rerolls work right now (by ‘using‘ ‘Fallen Embers‘ out of your inventory screen) is a harsh contradiction compared to how all other item and/or enchantment related game mechanics work in NRFTW right now – that is to say by visiting a merchant! Buying, selling, upgrading, enchanting, constructing gear… all of this needs a merchant to be visited. It’s really hard to miss Eleanor or Fillmore in sacrament – but it’s super-easy to miss the ‘use Fallen Ember‘ mechanic – especially when ‘Fallen Embers‘ are as well needed to respec your attributes… so they obviously seem to already have a purpose/function in the game.

Suggestion:
Please change the way enchantment rerolls can be accessed! Make this an Eleanor/Vendor service. The payment still can be ‘Fallen Embers‘… or cash… or whatever – I don’t care. But don’t let new players miss such an important game mechanic so easily!
