Hi. Echo Knight is pretty much a farm at the Crucible after you grind and put together a decent build, but when you spawn him in level 4 pestilence, some modifiers combinations make him impossible to kill (for me at least). Mostly is his teleport AOE attack, that in Crucible already hits like a truck, but in Pestilence 4, this attack 1 shot my lvl 30 full plate user blocking with a greatshild in full life. It’s difficult to dodge it properly when in Heavy Load, so blocking was my answer, but in this case, i suggest the devs take a look at the damage numbers from his attacks as a Pestilence boss. The modifiers also make some of his attacks really strange at times (speed modifiers for example), making the attacks connect instantly, and sometimes giving him a wind up way too long, wich makes learning the attack pattern really hard. Thank you for reading.
Ya, he’s tricky in a T4.. especially when you’re affected by the “Every Rune uses 100% Focus” debuff.
That said, I’d recommend using the Torn Sinew (9-12x of them) to proc T4 outbreaks. It limits the debuffs massively.
If you’re looking for a solution to deal with him in his current form. I’d recommend using Ice builds. Even if it’s just pimping out the “Endless Winter” for Frost Stream.
*Freeze > Shatter > Freeze > Shatter.. ect
==== EDIT ====
Make sure to add the “Frozen Enemy Armor Reduced by 50%” perk to your chest piece.
Can you not shove him if I’m full plate?
Asking because I haven’t played with heavy yet this patch and I know they changed runes so they don’t flinch bosses anymore and I’m unaware the fate of shove atm.
Isn’t the damage on that attack plague damage?
It for sure doesn’t do that with 3x mesh +1x leather (gloves, so w/e) upgraded armor (in p4+10 context) - so like 1000 - 1300 armor factoring some extra armor bonuses on some pieces + ring. Though it probably has higher plague resistance per average.
That to say - that attack is supposed to be dodged, not tanked. Sound is a good cue when to dodge.
