I played like an hour and got 2 crashes at different locations. I didn’t recall any specific action. I’m running the game on linux Mint with proton 10 via steam (no dxdiag file sorry…). No picture available as I can’t reproduce this bug.
Here are 2 player logs. player.log contains a crash. player-prev.log maybe too.
I’ll try to test several options. I could play more today like 2 hours without crash (but another bug in the end). Apart from that everything works great.
I was exploring and suddenly, my character got stuck in a running animation. No actions working, except using menus. The logs show issues with positions probably due to numbers out of range errors.
I exited the game via steam because I made it freeze again in the menu using Online or Player I think.

I’m playing on Linux (Ubuntu 24.04, Steam native) and I’m experiencing a consistent crash when entering or being near the main city, Sacramento. Behavior: Entering Sacramento normally: loading screen completes, then the game closes. Entering from the last Whisper: I can load into the city, but the game crashes after 10–20 seconds more or less. The crash happens every time and seems tied to Sacramento specifically.
Tested compatibility tools: Proton 10.0-4. GE-Proton10-3 (slightly more stable but still crashes).
Player.log shows repeated NullReferenceExceptions, for example:
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at Moon.Forsaken.ChargedMagicActionView.get_WeaponMagicLocator()
at Moon.Forsaken.InstantiationAnimator.InitializePoolRequest()
at Moon.Pooling.PoolingSystem.OnRetrievedFromPool()
