Hi,
Sorry to post here, but bug reports seem to be for Windows only, and i’m on linux, happy to never deal with Win OS ever again.
I’m experiencing some issues with my controller. It is in X-input mode, but isn’t Xbox, with A <> B & X <> Y inverted like on a Nintendo controller. With steam it should be easy to fix : “Settings > Controller > Use Nintendo button layout”.
Yet, this doesn’t work because as soon as Steam inputs controller are enabled in the game settings, the controller inputs are no longer detected at all.
I’ve tried other ways with 3rd party software to rebind, but it doesn’t work either because it seems the game reads hardware x-inputs and not software x-inputs..
Before that, i also had big issues with using my AZERTY keyboard as it seems hard coded to only understand QWERTY.. and using EN layout in fedora did not help. Seems to be the same issue with controller, the game reads strict hardware inputs thus no software correction can ever work.
This looks like a general issue with the way the game receives or reads device inputs. Can this be looked into please ? It is very hard for muscle memory to use A and B inverted.
